Dierkes Associates is an owner-operated executive search boutique. Founded in Spring 2008, we have successfully conducted senior level and specialist search assignments for our international and German corporate clients. Our focus is on technology-driven industries, especially telecoms, as well as on professional services.

Every one of our search assignments is driven by original research – up-to-date and custom-tailored to fit the recruiting needs of the client. A thorough briefing and an agreed-upon Position Specification lay the basis for our work. We conduct extensive sourcing to qualify potential candidates and to gain additional intelligence that will help maximize the impact of our approach calls. Each interested candidate is interviewed in person before being presented and references are checked before a final job offer is made to the finalist.

In concentrated markets we will only work for one competitor. We are therefore always able to present our clients with the full spectrum of potential candidates without running into the off-limits problems that limit the reach of larger competitors.

Size is no synonym for quality in the search industry. Still, a certain critical mass is necessary to guarantee a quick ramp-up to new searches and smooth processes throughout the engagement. Dierkes Associates today employs three professionals with a total of 40 years in the search industry plus an office manager handling travel and finances.

We conduct international searches from Germany. From case to case, we cooperate with experienced former colleagues in other markets now working in technology-focused search boutiques.
